  1. A. Heath Warranty:  Seller guarantees that at the time of delivery, the dog is in good health and will have been examined by a licensed veterinarian. The dog will have all age appropriate vaccinations, worming, and a microchip for permanent identification. Upon taking possession of the dog the Buyer has a 3 day period to have the dog examined by a veterinarian (at the Buyers expense). Should the veterinarian find a minor pre-existing condition during the examination, the Seller is to be immediately notified and agrees to pay for the cost of any medications necessary to treat said condition up to the amount of $100.  If the veterinarian finds serious health problems, the Buyer has the option to return the dog along with a written diagnosis from the attending veterinarian within 48 hours of the examination, for a full refund of the purchase price (veterinarian expenses for diagnosis, shipping, travel, etc. will not be reimbursed).  Should the Buyer choose to keep the puppy, the Seller agrees to pay the veterinarian costs for treatment, up to the original purchase price of the puppy, once a written diagnosis is supplied and verified. All payments will be made directly to the attending veterinarian. Any costs for treatment beyond the purchase price of the puppy, are the sole responsibility of the Buyer.

  2. B. Genetic Warranty: Seller warrantees the dog to be free of hip dysplasia, elbow dysplasia, PRA, and vWD genetic defects up to 24 months of age. In the event that the dog develops one of these hereditary disorders (as diagnosed by a licensed Veterinarian) and verified by OFA, CERF, or Certified DNA Lab), the Buyer must supply copies of the associated reports to the Seller (Note: microchip identification must be verified by a licensed Veterinarian, and documented on all reports). Once the reports from the attending veterinary has been verified by the Seller, the Buyer has the option to return the dog to the Seller.  Upon return of the dog, the Seller agrees to replace the dog with a dog from the next available litter or refund the purchase price at Sellers description.  All incurred expenses involved in diagnosis, treatment, and shipping fees (if applicable) are the responsibility of the Buyer, and will not be reimbursed. In the instance that the Buyer wishes to keep the dog, the seller agrees to refund ½ of the original purchase price of the dog.  The warrantee will be terminated should the dog be allowed to become overweight or if developing joints are seen to have been over stressed at any point during the warranty period. Note: Veterinarian expenses for diagnosis, shipping, travel, etc. are not included as part of the original purchase price and will not be reimbursed/refunded.  The Seller also reserves the right to request a second opinion by a Veterinarian of the Sellers’ choice.

C. Maintenance:  Buyer agrees to maintain the dog in good health, provide routine preventive health care including, but not limited to, appropriate vaccinations, treatment for internal and external parasites, and preventative medication as appropriate.  Veterinary records must be provided to Seller if requesting refund or replacement.  If the above preventive  care has not been provided, or if veterinary records show the dog was allowed to become overweight, the health warranty will be void.

D. Transfer of Ownership: All warranties shall apply only to the original purchaser.  Transfer of ownership of the dog shall void all provisions of this agreement.

E. Rescue and Re-home Services: Lifetime Guarantee: In the event that the dog fulfills all intended uses, but the owner is forced to give up the dog due to extenuating circumstances, the Seller requests that in the event that the Buyer can not re-home the dog, the dog will be returned to Seller. The dog will be evaluated by the Seller, and placed up for adoption. Note: Please know that we will never question your decision to relinquish the dog. We only want to ensure that our dogs do not make their way to a shelter.

F. Spay/Neuter Contract: The Buyer agrees to have the puppy spayed or neutered by 6 months of age. Proof from a licensed veterinarian that the puppy has been spayed or neutered must be supplied to the Seller. Note: All documentation regarding spay / neuter must have the dogs microchip number recorded. The Buyer agrees that the puppy will not be bred, or re-sold / re-homed for the purpose of breeding.
